At PRINTUNING®, we are committed to respecting and enforcing intellectual property rights for our own brands, our design partners, and our customers. This policy explains your responsibilities when using our platform, as well as how we protect exclusive brand content and handle copyright-related matters.

📌 This policy is reviewed every 6–12 months, or sooner if changes in law or business operations require updates.


1. 🧾 Ownership of Uploaded Content
1.1 Customer-Uploaded Designs
You, as the customer, remain the sole owner of any design you upload to PRINTUNING. By submitting your artwork, you grant us:
✅ A non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, print, and store your design strictly for the purpose of production, preview, and quality assurance.

You confirm that:
*  You either created the artwork yourself or have legal permission to use all fonts, illustrations, and images.
*  You are not infringing on any intellectual property rights.

📌 PRINTUNING does not verify the content or legal origin of uploaded designs.
Relevant laws:
*  🇭🇺 Hungary: Act LXXVI of 1999 (Copyright)
*  🇪🇺 EU: Directive 2001/29/EC, Regulation 2017/1001 (EUIPO)
*  🇬🇧 UK: Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988
*  🌍 Global: Berne Convention (WIPO), TRIPS (WTO)


2. 🚫 Prohibited Content
To maintain legal compliance and ethical standards, customers must not submit designs that:
❌ Use copyrighted or trademarked content without license
❌ Mimic or modify protected logos, slogans, or brand assets
❌ Feature celebrity likenesses, sports teams, or pop culture characters
❌ Contain political, adult, hate-related, or religious themes
❌ Violate privacy or publicity rights

We reserve the right to reject, cancel, or pause any order that violates these rules.


3. 🤖 AI, Templates & Stock-Based Content
PRINTUNING allows customers to upload artwork created with AI and design software, as long as the following conditions are met:
✅ You are responsible for confirming the commercial usage rights
✅ The platform used (e.g. Midjourney, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly) allows resale
✅ You do not upload AI artwork marked “non-commercial use”

We also use third-party software (Canva, Kittl, Photoshop) to create our in-house designs. All usage is governed by the respective tool’s commercial license.
📌 Customers using stock images (e.g. Adobe Stock, Canva Elements) must ensure:
*  The asset allows for print-on-demand resale
*  It is not marked “editorial use only”
*  The license tier matches your intended use


4. ® Brand Licensing & Exclusive Partnerships
PRINTUNING® is the sole manufacturer and commercial licensee for the following brands:

Our core company brand. All branding, slogans, mockups, templates, and printed designs are fully protected.
🛡️ Trademarked and copyrighted under:
Hungary: Trademark Act XI of 1997
EU: Regulation (EU) 2017/1001
UK: Trade Marks Act 1994

✅ UDESERVEIT®
A fashion-forward lifestyle brand owned and licensed by PRINTUNING. We hold exclusive production and resale rights.
🛡️ Protected by:
Hungarian Trademark Registry
EUIPO & UKIPO
WIPO & WTO agreements

✅ KOLOZSVÁRI EDIT'S ART™
All designs by Edit Kolozsvári are commercially licensed to PRINTUNING through direct agreement.
🛡️ Protected under:
Moral and economic rights (Hungary)
EU and UK copyright law
Berne Convention

🚫 No business or individual is permitted to reproduce, modify, or resell any of the above brands or their designs, either in digital or physical form. Legal action will be taken.


5. 📦 Resale & Distribution Rules
*  RINTUNING does not permit third-party resale of our manufactured products.
*  Customers, influencers, or vendors must contact the brand owner directly to negotiate distribution rights.
*  PRINTUNING does not provide manufacturing guidelines or design files to unauthorized resellers.

📌 All designs and goods purchased from PRINTUNING are for personal use or gifting. Resale is forbidden.


6. 🧑💻 Freelance Work & Contractor Designs
All creative work completed by freelance designers, contractors, or agencies hired by PRINTUNING:
✅ Is contractually transferred to PRINTUNING
✅ Becomes the full intellectual property of the company
✅ May be edited, published, or reused at our discretion


7. 🧾 B2B Design Retention, NDA & IP Reuse
For B2B clients or frequent reorders:
*  Artwork may be securely stored offline for repeat use
*  Files will never be shared with other customers
*  An NDA or IP escrow agreement may be offered for sensitive projects

📌 Storage occurs only with client consent and complies with GDPR (EU & UK).


8. 🛡️ Global Enforcement & Legal Action
PRINTUNING enforces intellectual property rights in all applicable markets:

We will pursue:
*  Marketplace takedowns (e.g., Etsy, Amazon, Redbubble)
*  DMCA-style copyright removal
*  Cease & desist letters or legal claims for damages


9. 🧾 Dispute Resolution Process
We offer a simple 2-step dispute process before legal action:
a.  Initial Warning – You will be contacted and given 7 calendar days to respond.
b.  Negotiation – If appropriate, we offer the option to settle via email before escalating to legal channels.

📌 Failure to respond within 7 days may result in takedown notices and further legal procedures.


10. 📢 Marketing Visibility & Customer Designs
We do not reuse or publish customer-uploaded artwork in our marketing.
However, we may share:
*  Product previews where the artwork appears
*  Verified customer reviews showing photos of the final item

📌 Customers can opt out of this visibility at any time via email or at checkout.
